Day 4 and 5 photos are below. Nothing new to report, except that I am now alternating ice and heat on my face- and it seems to be helping with the swelling some. I no longer feel like my head is going to explode, although my skin still doesn't feel like skin.
I got my first night of sleep (6 hours off and on due to getting up for meds) on Day 4 and that alone made me feel so much better. Hopefully good sleep will continue...

Hey Jennifer! It's Heidi Bell... anyway I just finished reading all of your blog entries, they made me excited and nervous for you and for myself. I have been having jaw problems for the last year and am going in to have a consultation on braces/surgery the first of the year! I can't find a lot of info out there and am not sure what to expect. Thanks for posting your journey I will be checking back for updates!
Hey Jen it's Erin Holmes, WOW! Ok 3 things: #1 You should be a novelist. Seriously! If I ever need anything written- you're my girl! ;-) #2 I remember you telling me you needed surgery but I didn't know it was so soon! You are totally right...there's no way I would've recognized you on the street. You look like you've went under cover! ;-) And #3- is your Surgeon insane? Scheduling your surgery BEFORE christmas when all the goodies are meant to be consumed! Shame on him. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
I am glad you seem to be healing well... this has been quite a journey for you! When do you plan on going back to work? How long does it take to heal? Wow... that is about all I can say about that.
On another topic... Randy thinks that Lynette is lame. I am about to write a post about it. Oh well, he needs to get used to it, because I am so totally her.
And I plan on seeing the other twilight movies as well. Just going in knowing that the movies cannot be nearly as good as the books...
Keep up the recovery! And I wish you the best!
Yay....I'm glad things are getting better. Let's just say the pictures are really really really hot! Love you girl
Thanks for the comment. :) Slowly but surely making progress.
Hope you are feeling back to 100% soon!
What was all that Twilight talk? Hardcore fan here. (And Team Jacob...)
Anyway, I wouldn't know it was you, I don't think, if I saw you walking down the street. That is one of the reasons I did the PS job on you; I was trying to figure out what you might look like after all the swelling goes down. You look so much better than you did right after surgery. I can't wait to see more posts. :)
